I applied online. I interviewed at WestStar Physical Therapy Network in Jul 2025
Interview
The first meeting was supposed to be an interview, but it felt more like a "here is the job, do you like it?" type of situation. The manager explained what the job entailed, gave me a tour of the installations, and discussed some scenarios. He did not ask many questions. He told me to come at lunchtime, then said it was a pity I couldn't see what a normal day looked like for them. Then, he told me to return some days later to see how they worked. I returned, then he told me I could stand by and watch and see if I liked the vibe and if I thought I could handle it. I said I did, then he told me he was interviewing other candidates and he would make the final decision some days later. It threw me off because everything he did and said until that point felt like he was preparing me for the job, almost as if I almost had it, then told me there were more people in line. I went there twice, spent over an hour each time going over what the job was like, only for him to email me days later telling me I didn't get the job. The whole process was a bit weird.
The people were friendly, though. He and the other aids, as well as another therapist I got to talk to.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
He asked how I would handle a patient who was being really rude or overall difficult. He asked only one question about my previous experience.
