2 rounds: first was the online test which had various sections including financial statement analysis, security analysis, valuation, quants to check aptitude and conceptual knowledge. Second round was telephonic interview with US partner. It was completely behavioural and based on past experience. The interview went well and I got the email later that partner liked my profile and would like to take my profile ahead for salary negotiation. I shared my salary slips and post that I didn’t hear anything back. After multiple follow ups HR confirmed they are not going ahead with the position without stating any reason. I understand the decisions were being made by business but HR should have given me a heads up or atleast informed me rather than I am continuously following up and after 1.5 months getting the answer. Completely unprofessional behaviour. Also a weird thing initially a third party consultant contacted me for this position and shared my profile with the Wells Fargo HR and later on the consultant were not handling the profile, the HR was directly contacting me through email.
