Applied online, had two telephone interviews and then an in-person interview today. About a month long process so far. In-person interview was with the kitchen manager and a hiring manager. I was asked the standard questions, that I had prepped for, and several that threw me completely for a loop. I was not applying for head chef, or sushi chef, so I didn't research for the questions they asked. And I studied for days for this interview! They are supposed to email me in a week either way.

Interviewed by the store manager and line cook lead. I received a tour of the store and areas where prep cooks perform duties. Got to know all of the types of events the prep cooks cater to.

Interview
There is an initial phone interview. If you pass that, you are generally invited to an in-person interview within the week. Everything said in the interview is recorded on their computers. Then if you make it, you’ll get a phone call within a few days.
The interview took place in the upstairs cafe. It was conducted by an HR representative and the head of the prepared foods department. Both were very kind and welcoming. The interview itself was very laid back and right to the point.
