4 rounds of interviews. First is a screening call with HR, which is pretty standard. Next is the hiring manager - while WeTravel frames these interviews as conversational, it's more of a Q&A/grilling with very little room for actual dialogue. The senior stakeholder round was the worst part - visibly uninterested from the start, dressed unprofessionally, and read AI-generated questions off a screen that they likely couldn't answer themselves, with nearly zero organic conversation. The rejection email cited not using their preferential AI tools enough, despite AI being listed only as a "bonus" in the job description - not a core requirement - and the specific tool in question being less than 6 months old. I left with serious doubts about the culture and hiring process.
