The recruiter I spoke with was really nice - she tried to establish a bit of a rapport with me, talking about common experiences in our home state, and the questions she asked were pretty typical and nothing out of left field. I detailed some of my editing experience for her and described my interest in the company and when I finished the interview I felt cautiously optimistic. The interview was only twenty minutes because the real test was an editorial test project that I had been asked to complete by the next evening. Unfortunately, however, I wasn't selected; they told me that my test project wasn't up to their standard.
