Applied through the web portal and after 1.5 months of following up by contacting recruits on Linkedin received a response and invitation for a video interview (turned out to be a phone interview as I was the only one connecting through video).
Interview was fairly standard, consisted of panel with 3 people going through company's question checklist. Main interviewer said at the end that they are looking to fill the position as soon as possible, and have 3 more interviews lined up next week but then plan to take a decision and inform all candidates immediately end of next week.
Followed up after two weeks via email first and after not receiving a response via phone a couple of days later, only reaching recruiter's mailbox. Did not receive any response and after a total of 4 email and 6 phone follow-ups without ever receiving some type of response or information gave up on the company.
Advice to recruiter: applicants invest as much time as you in this process, at least keep them updated or let them know if you do not move forward with their application so they can focus on another company. Staying silent and ignoring emails and phone calls is not a professional way to work with applicants.
