Received an email for a 5 minute call of “high level” questions which were 1. Did I live in Olympia 2. Would I accept a salary between $41-54K 3. I don’t remember but something basic that could have been asked by email. Then I received an email inviting me in for an in person interview that would include a copy editing test. You may as well not even prepare! I took AP style quizzes online but they didn’t apply. That copy editing test was an already published article by one of the interviewers. Instructions were to edit said article for grammar, AP style and rewrite headline to be more engaging. She left me alone for 20 minutes to complete this task.
