Walleye Capital interview questions

Process was straight forward, though one of the interviewers seemed distracted. Checking phone, yawning, swaying. People are nice, just wished they were not distracted. Interviews are easy as long as you study before hand.

Process: Two stage interview. First round was behavioral + data analysis questions they want to see how you think through ambiguous problems, structure your approach, and communicate findings clearly. Questions were case-style, nothing too out of pocket. Second stage was a live coding exercise. Standard stuff — data manipulation, some logic problems. Clean environment, interviewers were collaborative rather than adversarial. Felt more like a working session than a gotcha exam. Overall: Super professional process. Interviewers were sharp but genuinely friendly. No trick questions, no unnecessary stress. One of the smoother interview loops I've been through. Would highly recommend applying.
