Ghosted after my fourth interview! The first interview was with the recruiter. Basic qualifications and pay information asked. 30-minute phone interview. The second interview was with the Director (who would be my boss) and a Manager that does the same job I was interviewing for, but at a different location. The questions seemed like they were thought up on the fly. The interview was unorganized. It was an easy one-hour interview. The third interview was with the same Director, a Senior Director, and HR. It was a fairly easy one-hour Zoom call. I was the only person on the call that had my camera turned on- so I was basically answering interview questions to a blank screen. I asked when I could see the benefits package during the third interview. HR stated the benefits were very good, and she would send me a copy of the benefits package if I was offered a position. The fourth interview included the same Director and HR person plus the site Senior Operations Director, a couple of VPs from Germany, and a couple more people. I think 8 total people on the Zoom call including myself. It was basically the same questions as the previous 3 interviews. Again, I was the only person that had my camera on until the end of the call. HR and the Director turned on their cameras for 1-2 minutes. Some of the Wacker folks couldn't get the Zoom call to work correctly. Plus, it was difficult to understand some of the accents with the international computer connection without being able to see their faces. I thought the whole ghosting thing was unprofessional. I was kind of wondering what was going on with the company since they were posting basically every safety position at the site. It looks like they had a mass exit of safety professionals.
