Process involved 4 stages
1. HR telephonic call (around 15 to 30 minutes)
2. Online assessment (timed around 3 hours)
3. Video call with Hiring manager and another manager
4. Video call with VP
The whole process helped me in assessing the organization's work culture. I felt it was very rigid.
Firstly, salary is non-negotiable. Secondly, HR never gave me an option to choose a time slot for scheduling any of the rounds except the first telephonic call. This was really weird because they just expected the candidates to be available for what ever time they have requested.
The online assessment was very easy with some google tag related question and 3 questions to write php code. The assessment wanted the candidate to write php code but upload as a text file. If you are a developer you will know this is a silly approach.
Hiring manager was really nice and I got some really good vibes from her. Same with the VP as well.
Lastly, I informed HR via email that I would not be pursuing this opportunity, there was no acknowledgment from them. Very unprofessional from the HR. I would give below 1 star for the whole HR interaction.
