The interview process went quite well. The interviewer was very professional, friendly, and made the discussion comfortable. The questions were mostly concept-based and focused on understanding my practical knowledge rather than rote answers. They also observed general aspects like attitude, confidence, and clarity of thought.
The technical questions mainly covered US GAAP and US taxation concepts. One specific area they focused on was reconciliation—especially bank reconciliation, AR/AP reconciliation, and credit card reconciliations. Overall, it was a well-structured interview that tested both conceptual understanding and real-world accounting exposure.
