The interview was very easy. I only had to do one interview and then I received an offer about two weeks later. My interviewer was very friendly and personable and easy to talk to.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at W.W. Norton in Jan 2026
Interview
I was contacted by the same hiring manager I submitted my application to. She was welcoming, but her questions were a little on the intense side for an internship. She was looking for someone specifically interested in academic marketing rather than trade marketing which is what my experience is in so I think that's why I didn't get chosen
I was impressed by how efficient the entire process was. You can tell they care about the work they do, and they're really smart and nice. They mainly asked questions about my experience and passion. Loved it!

Question 1
They seemed focused on my experience in the industry which makes sense. There were questions about my general interest in the field, what I like about books, and how I work within a team.
