Volusion interview questions

Video call with scrum master and high-level developer. Very conversational - they were more interested my approach to a problem over the syntax and whatnot. Questions were not difficult - just seemed useful to weed out people that had no experience in the particular disciplines.

I would love to know how I am not qualified for this position, when according to the job description, my skills would make me overqualified. And how a current employee, who worked as a server in a restaurant before this, got the position over me. Make it make sense. Do not waste your time even applying at this company.
