I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some thoughts regarding my experience with the interview process for the IT role I recently applied for. After my initial interview with the hiring manager, which I felt went very well, I was eager to move forward. A few weeks later, I received a voicemail from HR asking me to call them back about the position. I promptly returned the call, but was told by the HR person that it had been a long day for him and they didn’t want to chat, and that they would follow up the next day.
Unfortunately, I never received that follow-up. After waiting a week, I sent an email expressing my disappointment with the lack of communication, which I felt was not acceptable or professional. A few days later, I got another voicemail, but by then I had lost hope in the process. Now, I’ve received the email stating I was not accepted for the role.
I hope the team realizes that I did not have a second interview due to the handling of the process by HR, and this experience has left me feeling discouraged. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I hope future candidates have a smoother experience.
