I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (New York, NY) in Jul 2024
Interview
Interview Process:
The interview process was overall quite fast and consisted of three rounds. The first round was a behavioral interview where I was asked questions about my past experience and general fit for the role. The second round involved a case study interview. The third round was a take-home assignment that required working with an Excel database containing information on various geographies, population growth, and other metrics.
Difficulty Level:
Overall, I found the interview process to be relatively easy, but the take-home case study was particularly challenging. The interviewer expected a highly quantitative analysis based on the provided Excel dataset, which was more detailed than what I initially prepared. They were looking for a deeper numerical breakdown rather than a qualitative strategic approach.
Tips for Candidates:
Make sure to focus on the data analysis for the take-home assignment and provide detailed insights based on the Excel dataset. They value precision and a numbers-driven approach.
