The interview process is quite excessive. Firstly you have a quick call with HR, then you have an interview with a few HOD's. Before you meet for the first round interview you're provided with an email on how to interview for the job. The first round interview is quite an aggressive technique for a creative space. They don't seem to care about people and just fire question after question. It is evident cultural fit is not important to this company. In this industry, I'm sure we've all been in companies with toxic culture, overworked staff and everyone is running on borrowed time. Their interview style is a big red flag and it's evident of time poor individuals. It certainly wasn't surprising to read those negative reviews I found on Glassdoor after the first round interview. Advice to management: review your hiring technique, it's aggressive, archaic and you're doing the creative industry a disservice. We are human's not robots and you might be missing out on some incredible skill sets by your methodologies.
