I was initially contacted and phone screened by someone from Staffing. Then had an onsite interview with six different people. The strangest thing is that they want their application filled out, signed, and submitted when you show up for the onsite interview. It's largely redundant with your resume, but it also gives them unlimited permission to call references, perform security investigations, do credit checks, etc. I didn't want to give them that permission until I knew I wanted the job, so I didn't provide them the completed application. I think that really annoyed them, because even though I did great with the interviews, the staffing person never returned my calls again.
