-recruiter reached out on LinkedIn; had phone interview
-Zoom interview with member of team
-on-site interview with 5 people
Had a 3 hour on-site interview with the team. Was told during the interview “people who work here really feel like they have no purpose outside of their job here” and “even when people are on vacation they’re still working” so be warned that’s what’s expected of you there.
Received a rejection email that said “we have decided not to proceed with your candidacy for a recruiting role at Verkada”, when I had interviewed for an Executive Assistant role. Super professional considering the amount of time they made me interview with them.
Do you research about a company and the diversity before moving forward with any company. Unless you fit the mold, you will most likely have more difficulty interviewing altogether.
The staff seem to be seeking out a certain characteristic for the role.

Extremely thoughtful, organized, and genuine interview experience. From the initial conversation, all the way to the onsite interview and beyond, I felt supported by every single member of the team (whom was involved with the position).
