I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Verizon (Wallingford, CT) in Mar 2014
Interview
Asked a bunch questions how would I take calls in the call center and a lot situational questions. The interview was very nerve wrecking because I had two in one day and they were trying to hire enough for the next new hire class. They showed you around the call center so you see what you are getting into. We also listen to calls to tell the interviewers how I would take the call.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026
Interview
The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

Question 1
How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
Lengthy and the paperwork is extremely confusing to fill out and submit. Thank you. But other than that really nice people. They hire through a 3rd party called Rose International…. Very helpful people
Unprofessional interview, and unfair. Being bilingual and many years of customer service experience they decided to pass due to many years of experience. The interviewer also looked unorganized and was bias.
