      Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Verizon (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Nov 2016

      Interview

I applied online and then was contacted to do a video interview using Montage software. After answering 5 questions, I was contacted to attend the Super Day at the headquarters in Basking Ridge, NJ. This is when things started to fall through. I was contacted by a recruiter who works through Korn Ferry - Futurestep to set up the logistics of attending Super Day. I responded within minutes giving my location, the nearest airport, etc. and I was contacted a few days later with the recruiter asking if I was still interested in attending because I didn't respond in time. I said yes and referred to my response and she apologized for overlooking it and said she would get my flight and hotel booked. She then reached out a few days later saying the the Super Day even has been rescheduled due to an insufficient number of recruiters. She told me they would reach out again once another date was confirmed. About a week later, I received a generic email saying that they are no longer recruiting for the position and to look at other opportunities on their site. This was a very misleading and time-consuming process that was disorganized, to say the least. I was looking forward to the on-site interview, but it went from needing to be rescheduled to being cancelled altogether. I saw other reviews here that mentioned how plans fell through but I thought, "That won't happen to me!" but it did sadly. Be sure to not get your hopes up if you are contacted to go onsite for a face-to-face interview.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Verizon (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Initial application was sent in September for the LDP and entry level roles. Soon after I received an invite to do a few video interviews (recorded). In December I get a call asking if I was still interested in the LDP program and to give them a few times of availability. This went on for almost 2 months before something was finally scheduled. First interview was a mix of technical and behavioral and it was done on a live call. Questions ranged from simple scenario walkthroughs to on the spot coding exercises. A week later I get a call for the second interview using the same platform. This one was a bit more behavioral and felt it went well.

      Application

      Interview

More than one interview, usually one with an HR representative and another with more technical leadership team members. The focus are to find candidates that are willing to learn, with the right attitude, and flexible on moving. Its not so much about technical expertise. Questions are focused on leadership experience , overcoming challenges, and ability tp work and adapt to new teams.
