I applied online. I interviewed at Veeva Systems in May 2024
Interview
One HR Call, then OA and then final onsite with 4 rounds back to back. First round is team intro (basic intro and HR with team), Next one was LC with two easy-med questions. Next was data structures with questions on OOP. Final was behavioral with Team Director. I did everything in Java. All rounds were pretty standard except for the data structures one. Very bad interview experience. Interviewer was not even interested. I asked for hint but he accused me of not knowing anything and also of cheating. Extremely bad experience. Felt like they already had chosen a candidate and were just interviewing for the sake of it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Two Sum, Some array manipulation question (I don't remember), Movie class and Java in built filtering methods and filtering without in-built also. Behavioral was completely on resume and past experiences and what I learnt from them. Pretty standard
The process looked like this:
Personality Test: It wasn't difficult. Probably for weeding out people that are difficult to work with.
Coding exam (with proctored tool): leetcode medium difficulty
Technical interview and coding exam: similar problem to before but you also explain your reasoning out loud and talk a little about your experience.
Behavioral Interview: Very pleasant and conversational.
First it was a 15-20 min phone screen with a recruiter and then they contact you with the next steps. There was no OA given before or after from what I remember.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2025
Interview
First was a behavioural interview. The interviewer was nice and the process was smooth. Although I thought the interview went well, I did not get to the next round. To prepare for the interview I suggest learning a lot about the company, the tech stack, and products they offer.
