Interview
At first I thought this company was legit, because they called me right away. Then come to find out they require you to download an app and do a pre-recorded interview with pre-recorded questions from company members. Ok, novel. But for every person who downloads this app, they probably get a kickback. Very tacky if you ask me. They give you a few minutes to prep before each question and then a member of the company (even the CEO) asks you to talk about your work background, what motivates you, etc. Very standard pre-recorded boring questions. Not having to meet you in person or at least have a live interview is a total cop out and they probably are looking at your age, how many gray hairs you have, noise hair, ear hair.,etc - all the stuff that's really not critical to a telephone sales role.

Question 1
They asked me to tell a joke. Seriously? What a joke!
I applied online. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (Portland, ME) in Aug 2024
Interview
It was super simple hiring process. There was l one self recorded interview, everything was done online until final phone interview. Phone interview was more like telling the logistics of the job and what it entailed. It was an easy process.
It was a two step process. There were Prerecorded interview questions that you send in for review. After that you speak to a recruiter during a live time interview. I believe that was it before they hired me.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2022
Interview
Smooth, vert fair, and very innovative. It was an online video format interview. You see the interviewer ask a question on video, and then you have 2 chances to film your answer. It was not stressful, very clear, and innovative.
