Varec interview questions

I applied online because it was under the SAIC brand so was excited about the potential opportunity. I received a call within 2 weeks for a phone screen by a recruiter. We then set-up an interview for the following week. I don't really remember being asked any challenging questions, but there were tons of red flags that were signs-had I known then. The manager pretty much violated a couple of HR codes, which most likely could have resulted in a lawsuit. Clearly he was inexperienced and so was I since I accepted the job knowing this guy should have not been a manager. He even contacted my past employers (who does that)? I expect that from HR.
