I emailed the hiring manager through a mutual contact. We then had several informal in-person interviews to discuss my background, goals, and the responsibilities of the position. I also met with the senior manager for similar interviews. The offer came within a couple weeks.

Interview
It was a very hard day. I had in my schedule 11-12 people to meet. I was completely tired by the moment I had a presentation (3:00 PM, the interview started at 8:30 AM).
As my presentation and the group meeting were scheduled in the middle of the day, so every single person I met during the morning/afternoon asked me the same list of questions.
It was so annoying. It would be better, if group meeting and presentation were in schedule before this series of individual meetings.
