I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Vagabanda Business Solutions (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2017
Interview
The place was nice. Was made to fill paperwork out, however it proved to be useless as Michael the CEO did not realize what I was interviewing for and stated explicitly he only wanted a female HR administrator, therefore opening admitting to a OHRC violation. There was another male there that I assumed was applying for the same position, and basically he grouped both of us together and told us the same thing. A third female was there and he did not speak to her about what he told us, so I assumed she would have gotten the job.
I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Vagabanda Business Solutions (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2015
Interview
Very professional, yet personable and relaxed. Discussed my short term and long term goals and my specific experiences that would allow me to succeed in the role. Gave me a thorough overview of the company and an idea of where we will be in a couple of years.

Interview
You go in for a first interview in the office at Victoria Park and the Danforth (Pharmacy and Danforth). This takes about 15 minutes. Then if you're asked back you're expected to shadow someone going Door to Door for a full workday. If you don't quit on them, they bring you back and sweet talk you into walking around with them for a week of unpaid training. Learning how to talk to people is fun, but you can do the same thing with Public Outreach or other companies that do Door to Door and get paid training and much better compensation through hourly pay.
Should you choose to accept, you'll arrive at 8 AM (or 8:30 AM if you're new) and you'll leave at 6 or 6:30 PM. You aren't guaranteed sales or money, but you are guaranteed a very long day that's full of surprises!
