      Interview

Cognitive and personality assessment, recruiter interview and then the COO. Bizarre quirky human. He could not answer questions and almost got defensive when he could not answer basic questions. Great video interview and invited me in for in person. It would have lasted 10 minutes if I had not asked more questions. He just wanted to meet me face to face to make sure I didn't have a third eye. Shortly afterwards, I got a we are going to pass. Thanks, but no thanks. Bizarre experience. I'm certain the visionary CEO is not aware his candidates are having this experience. It is not the experience or process to build a world class company.

      Question 1

We interview differently, tell me about a time you've dealt with failure.

      Interview

Pretty straight forward scheduling. The recruiter could use some personality - very dry and forced. Senior leadership joined half way through call, asking questions that were already answered, requiring to repeat again. Wanting an A++++ applicant/experience but the pay is laughable, 100% in office which is an hour+ drive from Austin proper (Westlake). Great for someone who is just title shopping, but ultimately they are at the lowest end of the spectrum for pay. Unfortunate that they don't understand that you get what you pay for and insist on an in office micro management structure <--- this screams that they are old school and have no idea how to actually manage a team.
