Interview was very lengthy for an entry-level position. It took almost a month and a half to go from a phone interview request to no job offer. There were three stages: initial phone screen (30 min-6 questions), group interview with 5 people from the center (2 hours long-14 questions, elevator speech, email correction, selling their membership in Spanish), and a final interview over the phone (15 min). Interview process felt a bit too much for a job that did not require much skill. Interview process felt like it was too focused on getting to know the person versus negotiating the role. Some questions were too long and could have been separated into two. Certain questions not asked at all that should have been and others ahead of time. Be careful with ideas. Interviewers can be misleading, seems like they really like you or will hire but might not. They also do a background check and ask for references if they decide to hire you. The time put in comes across as excessive and unnecessary. Had roles in the past that required more skills, requirements, and qualifications that were shorter and to the point. Some important responsibilities that had to be done by future employee were not put into the initial job description. Hours put into description also read for the 30 hour range but was later explained job entailed all 40 hours in the week. Clarity lacked a lot. Easily offended interviewers. Workforce lacks diversity as well.
