There was a two stage process - one on softer skills, management techniques etc and the other is more competency based. May be a telephone interview prior to these two stages.

What challenges do you think the university is experiencing now?
Well structured interview, with initial presentation followed by questions from the panel of four. Panel were friendly and knowledgeable, and took turns to ask questions from their perspectives as stakeholders in the project for which they were seeking the project manager. Overall an enjoyable interview.

Panel interview where I was asked to prepare a presentation, answer questions on my presentation and then a more formal interview. The panel consisted of position line manager, HR, project lead and an independent academic representative.
