Interview
Many rounds with individuals from different departments. Definitely meant to feel conversational... There was a lot of discuss on finding the correct "culture fit". It seems like everyone who was participating in the interviewing process really liked worked at United Scrap and felt important.

Question 1
They wanted to know what you knew about United Scrap.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Scrap Metal (Saint Louis, MO) in Mar 2021
Interview
I was contacted by United Scrap Metal on Indeed, asking if I’d like to interview with the company for their office coordinator position. I received a call from a recruiter, looking for a position for their St. Louis office. I was told I’d hear back within 24-48 hours with a decision. It’s been over 2 weeks now and I haven’t heard anything. So, that gives me an idea of what kind of ship they run. The position sounded great on paper and during the interview, but their lack of communication is disrespectful. Proceed with caution!
I applied online. I interviewed at United Scrap Metal (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2017
Interview
I applied online and briefly spoke to the USM recruiter. She then was able to pass me along to interview with the hiring manger. After going through the different layers of the interview process I was presented with an opportunity to work with the company.
