I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Uniphore Software Systems (Palo Alto, CA) in May 2025
Interview
I interviewed for an executive-level role in engineering at Uniphore. Overall, the people I met throughout the process were fantastic, smart, engaged, and genuinely passionate about the company and its mission. Every conversation left me impressed with the caliber of talent and the culture of collaboration.
That said, the interview process itself was drawn out. Every interview started late, which added up over multiple rounds and made scheduling a bit challenging. It seems they rely heavily on consensus decision-making, which makes sense for a company of their size since a poor leadership hire could have serious consequences. The downside is that it results in a very lengthy process.
Ultimately, I wasn’t selected for the role, but there are no hard feelings. I appreciated the chance to meet the team, and I came away with a positive impression of the people and the company.
Advice to Management: Streamline the process and be mindful of interview timing. Candidates at the executive level will expect punctuality and efficiency.
