HR is fast and responsive, but all hiring decisions are made by CEO. As he travels frequently and is crazy busy, this means interview and hiring can be delayed for weeks .

For a part-part-time contact position, I had to meet with a panel of senior executives including the CEO. I have 30+ years of experience. Before I went into the interview, the HR person whispered to me, "Don't be scared!" I had to quickly compose myself so I wouldn't LOL!

I worked only 40 hours a month but still had to be interviewed by a "panel" including the CEO. My supervisor had no input and didn't even meet me until my first day on the job . Very strange process.
