Found job posting online. Preliminary phone screening (tell me about yourself, what are your salary requirements). Scheduled for in person interview a week later.
That's where things went south. Whoever set up the interview clearly does not talk to the actual interviewer. For example, says business professional dress when you get the email, but upon arrival, most of the office staff is business casual at best. The email also says you should arrive 10 minutes early (no kidding?), but my interviewer was 20 minutes late, no advance notice so I was just stuck sitting in the waiting room for over 35 minutes since I arrived early. First impressions matter and this place comes across unprofessional. Also, the office is located in the ghetto, and I mean ghetto.
The interview itself was fine. Standard questions. Was not made an offer but would not have accepted one anyway given the interview experience and the terrible location.
