The phone interview was with a panel of three individuals that alternated questions. The questions were not difficult. It felt like the hiring managers already knew who they wanted to choose prior to the interview by what was on each resume.
Internal Candidate, so very simple process - include resume and last reviews, sometimes hold virtual interview but mostly contact last boss for gut check. Background checks if needed and discussions with first and second level supervisors not necessary.
