Score well on ASVAB, excel at basic and tech school. Study for the PME, learn your job, participate in professional organizations, seek new assignments and new opportunities. Use rejection (there will be a lot) as a motivator to achieve excellence. Strive to live by the AF core values....Integrity First, Excellence in All We Do, Service Before Self.

Over the phone due to geographical separation. It was really easy and non-evasive. They made it somewhat easy to translate my prior experience into what I would be doing for the desired job.

Need to qualify for service both mental and physically. Recruiters were great on helping me through the process. Spent 1 day taking a test and another day getting a medical evaluation. HR people walked me through the process very smoothly.
