The first step of the process was a phone screen - which was pretty standard: "Why do you want this job", "What are your salary requirements", etc. Later that week I was called in for an in-person interview. This consisted of the interviewer talking a lot about the position and asking questions relative to my background and my qualifications for the position. Overall, the interview went very well. I was one of four candidates being considered for the job.
After being told that the hiring manager would be making a decision within the next day, it took nearly 3 weeks for me to hear back via a very impersonal email that I had not gotten the job. Very unprofessional for such a large company. Not only that, but after sending various emails to check in on the status of the position - no one responded.
