I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UNICEF in May 2018
Interview
Applied through their website and was asked for an interview a month later. Because this was a research internship, two researchers called were in charge of the interview. It lasted about 20 minutes. They asked me to introduce myself and talk about my background, studies and research projects.
They never emailed me back to say I didn't get the internship.

I applied online. I interviewed at UNICEF (Nairobi) in Apr 2026
Interview
Email about being invited to the first assessment came 3 weeks after my application. After a few days, I received an email for the panel interview. The interview was alright: 4 panellists, a 45-minute interview and 4 questions around professional experience and the lessons picked. They chose someone else for the position; the rejection email came 3 weeks after the interview. Everyone was so nice during the process

Question 1
The assessment was very practical.
The panel interview had 4 questions mostly about previous experiences, not the frequently asked questions that people expect from interviews.
I received an email for interview following application. It was a straight forward process and clear in the system what the steps were. Friendly and efficient. I need to keep adding words.
3 rounds of interview, first two task based last one personality based, they changed their mind about the modalities of work midway through the hiring process so a bit frustrating but it’s also related to the number of applicants that allows them to be picky
