I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UNHCR (Madrid) in Jun 2018
Interview
I send my application and then a month letter I received an invitation for a written test and an interview. First I had the written test, they send you an email with the test and you have 2 hours to answer the test and send it back. The test is a technical test in relation with the job. You don't have too much time to answer it. Then some weeks later I had the interview, it was online with a panel of 3 people.

Question 1
Competency based interviews: example of a situation where you need to analyse a lot of information to find the solution to a problem.
Could you please clarify what exactly you would like me to improve? Are you preparing a formal report, an informal summary, or perhaps another type of document? Do you speak additional languages?

Question 1
Can you explain the difficult situation you handled?
I received a written test. They gave me 90 minutes. There were two main questions and following questions. It wasn't so hard. But the time is limitted. So you must already know the answers. The main porpuse is to measure your field experience. The questions are not related code of conducts rules. I have not received an invitation for competency-based interview yet, but I think I'll.

Question 1
It was a case study about national and international law. They gave me a vis-à-vis and they asked "which international protection status does fit it?"
Friendly and kind atmosphere. We were given an hour to answer the questions: 1. Protection - a description of the process in your own words + UNHCR's role 2. Case study (Organization of protection-related activities)
