meet for in person interview where they will ask about you and your background with water safety, leadership, interest in becoming a lifeguard etc, then there will be a swim test: 300 yard swim in under 5 min., swim 20 yd then down 14 ft to get 10 pound brick and swim back 20 yards with it, 2 min tread with brick.
