I applied online. I interviewed at U.S. Soccer Federation in Jun 2026
Interview
I had a positive experience with the interviewers themselves. Each conversation was thoughtful, engaging, and gave me a good understanding of the role and the team's work. Everyone I met was professional and generous with their time.
Where the experience fell short was the communication after the final interviews. Throughout the process, I was consistently told that the team was looking to move quickly with the hiring decision. However, after completing my final round of interviews, I did not receive any meaningful update for more than a month. During that time, I was left uncertain about the status of the process despite the expectation that decisions would be made quickly, and I ultimately decided to withdraw my application.
I completely understand that hiring timelines can change and priorities shift. My feedback is simply that candidates appreciate transparency. Even a brief update explaining that the timeline had changed, that the search was still ongoing, or that I was no longer under consideration would have gone a long way toward creating a better candidate experience. Providing timely communication and closure demonstrates respect for the time and effort candidates invest throughout the interview process.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at U.S. Soccer Federation (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2025
Interview
First met with a recruiter and was told the process would involve at least 3 more interviews and possibly a writing assignment. The total process would take about 5 weeks.

How my experience related to the job posting requirements
I interviewed at U.S. Soccer Federation (Fayetteville, GA)
Interview
I was ghosted after completing all of the interviews. It started with a standard HR screening, then I met with the hiring manager, some of the team and then finally the head of the department. Communication was good and the interviews were well organized. But there is a high likelihood that you simply will not hear back from US Soccer once you have gone through all 5-6 rounds. I got the sense that the recruiting team is overworked and cannot send a rejection email to all candidates. A disappointing experience overall.
