Application
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at U.S. Food and Drug Administration in Nov 2022
Interview
Due to Covid, the interview was virtual with a panel of 3 interviewers. The questions were very standard, with nothing surprising or tricky. Just share your experiences, educational background, and express your passion for the regulatory field & the FDA. The interviewers had a list of 15 questions and took turns asking them. They also were taking notes along the way so not much conversation went on. After the list of questions, you get the chance to ask your questions and casually chat with them. I would say the interview was fair and quite straightforward.

Question 1
1. What does the FDA do? 2. What was a challenge that you faced, and how did you resolve it? 3. How does your personal background (school & work) contribute to this position? 4. Are you willing to travel? 5. Strengths/weaknesses? (I prepared 3 each) 6. How would your past employers describe you? 7. How you work under pressure?
The interview was laid back and easy going. Panel interview for 30 minute interview and answered 10 questions. The interview focused mainly on project management experience. How do you handle stress? How do you handle multiple deadlines?

Interview
2 interviews different departments with 2 pre-screening calls. One interview was a panel with 5 individuals. Lots of questions, some personality questions. I left thinking both went pretty well. No job offers. A bit frustration, but part of the process. I offered a lot of clinical insight.
