It is another case of higher management personal at Fonterra fitting their mates into these jobs, but going through the interview process to cover their tracks. Since the formation of Fonterra the dedicated and experienced staff are also having their employment advancements blocked by the underhand processes taking place. Irreplaceable staff are leaving and it shows in the level of competence in the decisions being made by higher management. Farmers should be aware that they are paying unnecessary redundancies costing millions of dollars to correct mismanagement within your industry.

At least you did get an interview - even if you were a sacrificial lamb. Many who apply for jobs, don't even get an acknowledgement of their application. Your job is only secure at Fonterra until the next redundancy round.
