I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tuscan Brands (Salem, NH) in Jun 2025
Interview
I went through three interviews with three different individuals at Tuscan Brands, and overall, the interview process was smooth, respectful, and relatively easy. I was offered the position, which I appreciated.
However, I ultimately chose not to move forward. After reviewing current employee feedback on Glassdoor and having conversations during the process, I became concerned about the internal culture. As someone with over 15 years in the hospitality industry, I prioritize working for a company that values its people and where employees don’t feel like just another number. That’s how I run my own teams—and what I seek in a leadership environment.
One key concern for me was the company’s stated policy of no holidays off, which was confirmed by the recruiter. While I fully expect to work most holidays in this business, I’ve never encountered a zero-flexibility approach. That detail ultimately confirmed my decision.
That said, Tuscan Brands has a great product, stunning venues, and clear operational ambition. For the right person, it could be a good fit—but it wasn’t the right cultural match for me.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Tuscan Brands (Salem, NH)
Interview
Went in for a brief in-person interview after submitting my resume. Had to be persistent with following up with management to get an interview scheduled. Was hired at the end of the interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at Tuscan Brands (Salem, NH)
Interview
Fairly strait-forward. Application sent. Phone interview, then an in-person interview. Then I waited forever for a call back. It's been over 5 years and i'm still waiting lol. They have no problem ghosting, even after an in-person interview.
