      Claims Processor Interview

      27 Dec 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Phoenix, AZ
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Turo (Phoenix, AZ) in Dec 2017

      Interview

After applying online, I received an email to have a phone interview scheduled with the recruiter. She was extremely nice and we had a good conversation. The questions were mostly probing to see what I knew about Turo and if I’d be a good fit for the role. I was then moved on to a phone interview with a claims manager. The man I spoke with was also friendly, and had a series of 15 questions he was required to ask me. I was not extended an offer after this, but if I was, the next steps would be a simulation test on a computer and an in person interview. After my rejection email I followed up with the recruiter for interview feedback. She got back to me very quickly and advised what determined my rejection and the things I could work on. I greatly appreciated that. I enjoyed talking with the people I interviewed with, and intend to reapply in the future.

      Claims Processor Interview

      17 May 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Scottsdale, AZ
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Turo (Scottsdale, AZ)

      Interview

I initially received a phone call from a recruiter and we had a nice conversation about what Turo has to offer. Afterwords, I received a phone call from the Claims Supervisor who laid out the requirements for the job and asked me some standard questions you would here when applying for a customer focused position. After our pleasant conversation I was sent a few case studies to do before the official interview was set up. They were set up as response emails to customers, and I would recommend thoroughly reviewing Turo's terms of service as a guide. After I submitted my case studies, I was set up for my in person interview. Two hours of interviews felt daunting at first, but the staff at Turo were extremely friendly and easy to speak with. it was definitely interesting hearing from members of each department to get a better understanding of the company and their overall mission statement. I would recommend having a long list of questions prepared, as you will be meeting with four different interviewers. Overall it was a surprisingly pleasant and informative experience.
