The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Turner Construction (Portland, OR) in Nov 2010
Interview
After going to an informational meeting about Turner Construction I presented my resume. I recieved a call back to interview with their district manager. He came to my school and interviewed about 30 students. During the interview he said about 10 people would be selected to come to the branch office for a second interview which would be conducted by employees in the branch. About 2-3 weeks later I recieved an email from HR that said I was not selected for the second round interviews.
I applied online. I interviewed at Turner Construction (Orlando, FL)
Interview
Very smooth process with open communication. Multiple rounds with very friendly individuals. The get-back time was a little slower than I would have preferred, but still a great process overall.
The interview process was straightforward and professional. I first applied online and was contacted by a recruiter a few days later. The interview consisted of a conversation about my experience, previous projects, technical skills, and how I handle teamwork and deadlines. The interviewer was friendly and explained the responsibilities of the role clearly. The process was organized and overall the difficulty felt average.
