I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Turn2 Marketing Concepts (Glen Ellyn, IL) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview process was something I’m happy I went through so I could warn against others even considering going through it. The first interview took 15 minutes and they hadn’t even gone through my resume. I had to provide my own and catch them up to speed on who I was. They also made the company seem like something it wasn’t. Like it was all about marketing which all changed after the second interview. I was immediately requested to come in for a second interview which was basically them outlining how quickly you are promoted and how there’s no base salary but as long as you work hard to can make a ton of money. It’s not really explained how acquisitions happen or where the money comes from but the basic goal is to hire someone at entry level and you become a manger who opens their own market and as long as your employees acquire more people and do their job, you can make upwards of $100,000 a year. I’m not sure if you feel the same way I did when you read that but I certainly did not feel great. And I made sure to question this multiple times. There’s absolutely no base pay. The days are also said to be very long, on average 10:30 AM until 9 PM as well as working Saturdays. They also have you go right from the second interview to the third interview immediately. The interview process was very concerning and misleading.

Interview
Met with one of the people in HR (who I would be working under) named Megan. Interview was about an hour and a half and we talked about the company history, the position, day to day responsibilities, and the goals of the company for the next quarter. She was awesome and I felt like we really clicked. Haven’t received the offer yet, but fingers crossed!

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Turn2 Marketing Concepts (Glen Ellyn, IL) in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied online to what I thought was an office in Chicago. It was actually in Glen Ellyn. I got called and emailed about interview within days of applying. I've been very busy and really didn't do my due diligence in researching the company or role. Had I, I probably could have guessed it was a pyramid scheme. I didn't so I went to the interview. I waited for over an hour. In that hour, I did research on my phone and discovered that it probably was a pyramid scheme. The title of Marketing Coordinator is clearly just a hollow title and nothing else. You do sales. The cute girl at the front desk, McKenzie I think, was really nice and helpful on the phone. That's about the only positive.

Question 1
Honestly, he didn't ask very many questions. It was clear he wasn't qualified to do his job as it's a pyramid scheme.
