I was reached out to without applying, and after the initial interview, in which I could tell the interviewer lacked a clear understanding of UX principles, workflow, and goals, the recruiter said they were really excited about me and would reach back out in a week to further schedule interviews and then never heard from them again. It's been three weeks and the position was removed from the site.
