      Program Coordinator Interview

      4 Sept 2015
      Anonymous employee
      New Orleans, LA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tulane University (New Orleans, LA) in Jun 2011

      Interview

Submitted my resume and received a call back within a month. I conducted a phone interview with the direct supervisor. Afterwards we scheduled an in person interview with a hiring committee of 5 interviewers. I met with each interview separately and they each asked different questions related to my experience and the ability to get along with others. I was offered the job the next day and started two weeks later.

      Interview questions [1]

      Interview

Two rounds of in-person interviews with direct manager and president of program. Questions vary from past experience, organizational qualities and education. Essentially easy interview questions. If anything they are focused on if you will be able to complete all tasks given and if you are good at multitasking. This is for a role within the School of Medicine.

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tulane University (New Orleans, LA)

      Interview

The hiring process began with networking to a friend who worked for the University. The friend provided a referral to the hiring office, and I subsequently completed my online application for the position. Received a call within 2 weeks and began the interview process from there. First call was a screener with the office director, who then invited me to have a phone interview with two current employees (which occurred within a few days of my initial call). Call was very pleasant and conversation, with a bit of behavioral interview type questions. Followed up with in-person interviews, approximately 2 hours of interviews with three different groups of interviewers. Questions were fairly conversational with some behavioral questions again. Received an offer within a week of final interviews.
