To be paid close to minimum wage, it wasn't worth the amount of effort during the interview process. It felt like the interview was to work for the Prime Minister, not for a childcare centre.
They would ask for 3 references and their emails (which is totally fine and normal), then the references would receive a very long email with a lot of questions, and by a lot means A LOT. They showed me this email and I felt really sorry for providing their emails.
Up to this day I am still trying to figure out why they make such annoying interviews if their staff does not get paid enough anyways.
Management should make the interview process accordingly to how much they paid their staff. If they are paying their staff between $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, then please do a mediocre interview. Not worth sending long emails to references for such low wages
