I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trupanion (Seattle, WA) in May 2014
Interview
The interview process was very smooth and enjoyable. I initially had a phone interview with someone in HR that was very typical of your average phone screen. She asked about my background, my knowledge of the company, and what brought me to the job search. It was quick and informative. I felt like I was never "left hanging" during this process. They kept me in the loop with what happened next, and HR made me feel very comfortable. My in-person interview was about an hour long. I met with several people from the team, and was initially greeted by the hiring manager with her dog! This company has a pet-friendly environment, and I appreciated how they immediately demonstrated this important part of their culture. The actual interview felt more like a conversation than other interviews I've had in the past. Each person that I met with had a different approach, and I really felt like I could really grasp the mission and passion of the team within the hour that I met with them. There were several questions that were difficult and hard to answer, but a qualified candidate would do fine. They not only wanted to understand my talents and strengths on a professional level, but very much aimed at learning about who I am as a person. There is no better feeling than leaving an interview and fully believing in a company and team in which you've only met with for such a short amount of time.

Question 1
If your peers could you describe you in only one word, what would it be?
I saw an application and applied. The first few were over the phone and the last was an interview with 3 of the managers I would be working with. Asked critical questions but was also so kind. I enjoyed the people and felt like it was a good place to grow
I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Trupanion (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Really great! Would recommend working here. Had a phone interview first and then with each person in the department. I dressed business casual. I was given a tour of the office and lead to a room.
