      Process Engineer Interview

      9 Nov 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New Berlin, WI
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Trulite (New Berlin, WI) in Oct 2022

      Interview

I applied online and was contacted by their representative. She asked me some screening questions, then repeated back what I said to ensure she wrote the correct things, and then submitted them to the hiring manager. She called back in about 20 minutes after the first screening to offer an in-person interview within the next two days. That was rushed to me so I proposed the next week. She stated it had to be this day or otherwise I would be removed from consideration. Personally, I found this very manipulative and a red flag, but I decided to proceed anyway. When I got to the facility, they had a list of 6 people to meet followed by a plant tour. They did not have a room reserved and did not even have a panel interview ready. After 3 hours, I only spoke with half of the people and was not able to do the plant tour. I asked to leave because I believe it was very unprofessional to state that this was the only day the interview could be held, yet they didn't organize the interview in any way. It was disrespectful to my time. I have not heard back from them.
